Shinko (Story Arc 2: Yuu's Circus) (4/4)

Humija: (Watches the duel nervously)

Ban: This is Yuu’s first dual in a long while yet, he hasn’t rusted a bit.

Pan: I’m not sure what the outcome of this battle will be! They’re both so powerful!

Chew Toy: Either way, the battle will be legendary.

Shinko: Soul Kick!

Yuu: (Blocks with his blade as his boots scrape against the ground due to the force of the kick)

Shinko: Soul Punch!

Yuu: Sharp Storm! (Projects a small storm of slashes by swinging his blade)

(Both attacks collide powerfully)

Yuu: (Gets punched in the stomach with extreme force) GAHH! (Spins and flies into the air as he coughs blood)

Shinko: (Gets caught in the storm, resulting in multiple cuts) GRR! D-DAMN IT!

Yuu: (Crashes into a tree but eventually recovers)

Shinko: (Shields his body until the storm clears) (Pants) I feel like Swiss cheese.

Yuu: (Runs towards Shinko) AHHH! (Scrapes his blade on the ground) Sharp Inferno!

Shinko: (Ducks) Soul Bullet! (Pokes him on the stomach)

Yuu: Augh! (Coughs as he is knocked back)

Shinko: Soul Jab Combo! (His fists are lightly coated with soul energy as he punches Yuu multiple times)

Yuu: (Grunts as he is punched multiple times) (Blocks one of the punches with his blade) Sharp Inferno Swipe! (Projects a large fiery slash)

Shinko: Damn it! Soul Stomp! (Stomps and knocks a large amount of soil and rocks into the air, blocking the fiery slash)

Yuu: (His blade cools down) Sharp Machine Gun! (Jabs his blade forward multiple times, projecting numerous small slash bullets)

Shinko: Soul Block! (Blocks the bullets but with extreme difficulty) (Sparks fly from every bullet that hits his blocking arms)

Yuu: (Pants loudly)

Shinko: (Pants as well) This duel is really firing up. No pun intended.

Yuu: You are an extraordinary fighter. It’s not just your abilities but your skills as a fighter.

Shinko: Thanks! You’re not bad either!

Yuu: Sharp Chaos! (Swings his blade at Shinko multiple times at seemingly light-speed)

Shinko: Soul Leg Blade! (Coats his leg in soul energy and uses it to block the quick and powerful swings)

The force of the collisions were powerful enough to send trees into the air after pulling them from their roots. Intense levels of sparks flew after every collision.

(The two eventually separate)

Shinko: Soul Kick!

Yuu: (Gets kicked in the stomach) GEH!

Shinko: (Charges at Yuu) Soul…

Yuu: (Eyes widen as he tries to recover from the kick)

Shinko: …Arsenal! (Hits Yuu with numerous Soul Bullets at seemingly light-speed)

Yuu: GRAAAHHH!

Humija: (Shocked) So fast! So powerful!

Shinko: RAHHHHH!

Yuu: AUGGGHHH!

Shinko: (Stops attacking as he pants from exhaustion)

Yuu: (After Shinko stops attacking) I-I…

Shinko: Huh?

Yuu: I-I have…lost! (Falls to his knees in exhaustion)

Shinko: (Eventually falls to the ground in exhaustion)

Humija: (Excited) Shinko! You won!

Ban: That was awesome!

Pan: And we just ran out of popcorn!

Chew Toy: That battle was a good show! (Claps)

Shinko: (Exhausted) I really need pancakes…

Yuu: (Looks at his blade) K-Kurokami…I have shamed you, Kinbayochi…(A tear falls from his eye)

Shinko: (Gets up slowly and puts a hand at his shoulder) Smile, Yuu.

Yuu: Huh?

Shinko: You need to smile. You did great at the duel and you made him proud. Wherever he is, he would be grateful with how much you care and respect his treasure. Now wear a smile and move to Momoya already.

Yuu: (Begins to smile) Bless your heart, Shinko. Show us your town.

Later At The Town Of Momoya…

Humija: This place is a wonderland. The people are so nice, the price of housing is cheap, and you feel as though you’re a part of a family. We’re still rebuilding ourselves from after Vivijar invaded, but I’m sure you’ll love it here.

Pan and Ban: (They hug her tightly) Thank you big sister!

Humija: Aww! I’m your big sister?

Yuu: I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to marry you, but I am grateful that you took us in.
Gargo: (Suddenly comes in with a microphone) I’m Gargo of the Momoya News Station, this is my first report since Vivijar came along! (To Yuu) How does it feel to be a part of Momoya? (Points the microphone at him)

Yuu: (As Chew Toy holds a “Hi Mom” sign to the camera in the background) O-Oh…Uh…It feels great and…

Gargo: (Pulls away) Fantastic!

Gargo was a man who seemed to be in his late twenties or early thirties. He wore a fancy blue suit with a red tie, matching blue pants and black shoes. His right combed hair was Baker-Miller pink and his eyes were violet. His smile was very charismatic, making him the perfect reporter.

Shinko: Who’s this guy?

Humija: That’s Gargo. He’s our personal reporter. He’s been out of work since Vivijar took over. His brother, Cargo, is a pirate.

Shinko: A pirate? Cool!

Oido: (Gargo’s cameraman) You’re on again, Mr. Gargo.

Oido was an overweight, tan skinned man. He wore a grey t-shirt with blue jeans and black boots. His green hair was at a buzz cut and he had a matching colored mustache. His eyes were brown.

Gargo: Right! (Clears his throat) Momoya is finally happy to announce its freedom! After countless months of taxation, beating, and foot kissing, we have returned to the lovely peace-loving town we live in. It seems as though a group of circus performs have recently moved here. Isn’t that awesome? It’s been quite some time since we’ve had circus entertainment. We have one person to thank for all this amazing news: our savior, Shinko. This is Gargo of the Momoya News Station signing off.

Shinko: I’m so glad you agreed to move here, Yuu.

Yuu: I’m glad as well. I haven’t had attention in a while, but now we have an entire town to entertain. Shinko, the next time you go on an adventure, call me alright?

Shinko: Sure thing.

Yuu: Thank you. I look forward to what the future lies ahead.

Shinko: (Smiles) Welcome home, pal.
